{Heather & Joe} Beautiful Yellow & Navy Themed Wedding

The epitome of a traditional English country wedding, Heather & Joe got married on 29th July 2011 in a picturesque village church in Whittlesford just outside of Cambridge. Followed by a fantastic reception (featuring pimms and ice-cream - perfect combo!) at Swynford Paddocks Hotel, near Newmarket where guests were entertained in the evening by awesome live music from Sean Williams & his band

*Design Work* A Beer Festival themed Wedding stationery package

A Beer Festival themed wedding anyone?! Ellen & Neil approached us to design the wedding stationary for their fantastic wedding and reception held in 'the field at the bottom of the garden'...      so lovely!
We put a package together of bespoke invitations, order of services, and beer tasting notes - complete with a little caricature of the best man Barry, who had painstakingly brewed his own beer (jokingly named 'Ball & Chain'! ) for the wedding day, and written tasting notes for each table.

Photos from the wedding will be coming up soon on the blog- not to be missed, it was a gorgeous day!

{Hayley & Trevor} Autumn Leaves & Lushious Lace

Having hoped and prayed for weeks on end that Saturday October 15th 2011 would beat the odds and spare us the rain, we should have {for once} had faith in the English weather; just as Hayley {the beautiful bride} had been 100% confident it would turn out to be a wonderful sunny October day.
And it was.

Autumn is my favourite season, so it was exciting to discover that Hayley & Trevor had chosen an Autumnal theme to tie parts of the day together {Just look at that cake!!}

...  Oh, and on another note, my love affair with lace has just gone sky high!!

Thanks and all the best to the new Mr & Mrs Heaps!
